Here's what's really beautiful this season:
1.
2. The Road to Escondido - JJ Cale & Eric Clapton: Blues/Classic Rock Heaven
3. My wunnerful blog. Looks cute na? *grin* (okay so its not even too different - but humour me, okay?)
4. Winter: Do i need to describe it??
5.
6. Carols
7.
8. Meeting school buddies and calling them "cult"-ish.
9. Getting back to the official gossip site: FG's *evil laughter*
10. Finding that wikiquote quotes from FORTY-TWO P G Wodehouse books!!
11. Knowing that you have the amazingest parents in the world. Not to mention one bonny baby brother =P
12. Finding the Wiki-Sisters : Wiktionary and Wikiquote i knew of, along with good ole Wikipedia. Wikinews - well we all know how much i keep up with the news.. Wikibooks and Wikiversity - all edu-stuff... obviously i'll never use it - but i like to make people think i'm nerdy. Wikispecies - goody!! Wikisource - purrfect for figuring out what Jeeves just said. Wikicommons - media.
WIKI RULES!!
I deleted a few.. those i'll put up later..
Knowing me - I might change 'em a bit over the next 12 days though.
But man - does Wiki stay or does it stay?

The Owl and the Pussy-Cat
I was walking the beautiful streets of a quaint little suburb called Matunga and thinking of Life, the Universe and Everything. A very deep and intense topic, you'd think. Not enough to make me miss the most beautiful thing in the world.
Mom keeps complaining about how i'm always looking down while i walk. (Priyanka Malde supposes i'm counting the number of steps i take) This is one time when i'm greatful for that stupid habit.
Right-o. So. There's this precious little, tiny little, adorable little cat. A kitten, as Kushal rightly put it. She's this slightly under-fed thing. No more than a foot in length, pokey, keen things for ears, gingerish-yellowish colour, and THE most compelling eyes i have EVER seen.
After i go scratch its back - it decides to rub against my leg. Which is awesome cause cats are generally reserved. At this point of time i'm kinda bent.. almost kneeling.. Now when i get up - this pretty li'l thing decides to climb onto my foot. I swear - the only time i have seen this sorta thing is in the adverts of "Amazing Animal Videos" (yeah this is one of the rare shows that i can't bear on Animal Planet) I think i still have the claw-marks on my pants hehe.
After i manage to get the cat off my pant (with much difficulty - cause even though i might like cats - i am incapable of picking them up by the scruff of the neck and dumping them wherever) I start walking.. and this squirt decides to get under my feet. It followed me till the end of the foot path. It must've been well brought up in whatever time it had with its mommy - cause it didn't get off the footpath. Good thing too - cause if it had - i would've carried it home wimme. Not the most appropriate thing to bring home - but yeah.
On the way back - i found it again.. *sniffle* It broke me heart to walk away.. But it was serenely lapping at the water in this horrible looking puddle. So i just left it be.
Which brings me to our beautiful surroundings. You know there are times when i wish i had this tiny video-cam fitted into my glasses. That way i could pick up clips of these little things i see. There are so many things around me, there is so much to capture.. The beauty, the happiness, the amusement, the woe, the dispair, the helplessness... the pain...
This happened a long time ago - i was walking from some place - past 7-11 at King's Circle - and going home. There is a blind woman at that corner - she wants to cross - that much was obvious. However - she was standing at the wrong end of the foot path - she was NOWHERE near the signal. And she was facing the circle!!! (I dunno if i'm making sense here but w/e. )
How blind can people be???? How self-absorbed can you get???? No one even asked her if she wanted to get anyplace..
She was a very sweet person.. she taught music at some school.
My request to anyone who's reading this: Help out. Its not such a bad thing to do.
Ruia has a special computer center for the visually challenged. But i used to feel hesitant in helping people who were travelling to and from Ruia. Especially when we were all together - didn't make sense to quit the group.. you know - do something no one else is..
Then one day when the Ruia and Podar people are all walking to the bus stop - Purvi quietly goes and helps someone cross the road. That hit me like a two-by-four.
Oh and the reason for the title :
Me = Owly. And i just wrote a lot about a pussy cat.. And while i'm the female - and i don't even know what gender that kitten was - i was just reminded of the poem :D
And as i leave - may i mention that although english = awwsome, their hairstyles suck. For the guys at any rate..
