Discovery: I Am Sam Soundtrack. I was picking up songs from it (they're good by the way). This version is by The Black Crowes.

Rediscovery: I've been skipping that song for quite some time now. Its a bit repetitive. Its nice. But w/e.

Tonight it was on VH1 Classic. I hadn't seen the video till then (when have i EVER? hehe)

It is SUCH a weird video. I'd watch it just for that *grin* Its like they've been taking computer classes with Shrava*ni and they've just discovered Paint. So they keep re-colouring the same bits in different colours. Its colourful - i'll give it that.

(Oh and having a '60's pant which is half striped and half not? Not cool. :P )

What's weird about the Beatles is that they actually went around writing about all the drugs they've tried out. Tsk. Apparently it was SO obvious. Just us dumbos didn't get it. (The only reason i got it is good ole wiki.)

Coolest use yet: Calling the skeleton of a 3.18 million yr old Homonid "Lucy" cause the songs playing in the background when they're discussing skelly names. (and people tell me I am random? hmph).

Feature: Psychedelia. There even exists phychedelic rock!! Although it IS sorta obvious when you think of Jimi Hendrix and the like. He seemed like he was in a major trance all the time.. Looked it too

My Beautiful Writing

Well people have been telling me i write well *blush* thank you thank you thank you.. far too kind.. (thats from one of the collision course songs.. Numb/Encore i think.. ) And honestly - VJTI is not that music-illiterate. Okay so its not the best place to discuss music (there are exceptions of course. ahem. ;-D ) There's also a senior who owns an AWESOME Beatles tee. This, by the way, is a T.E. or B.E. dude who my mom saw below our bldg once. She was so shocked that a person with such long hair is an aquaintance of mine. She was anxiously asking if he was in my class. hehe. And.. other people besides me have heard of Jimmy Eat World (them being one of my recent squishies of course :P ) genereally people ask to see my iPod, look through a few songs (which they can't recognise) and they just hand it back.. Do they honestly think i'll fill 2 GB of space with Hindi songs??? *shudder* (no offence and all that - some of these people are good friends.. but still.. )
Moving on - i do wonder i am the favourite for being teased.. sigh. no one ever leaves me alone :( Altho these are the high points in my life (yeah my life is THAT boring..) Sigh. Now we move on - cause deepti is one of my readers (almost my only reader) and she has heard about this till she can hear about it no more.
Oh wait - even my stupid kid bro is teasing me. My life is officially over.

Lately I have been playing Spider Solitaire as if its the best thing since the invention of ice cream.

The recent events in my life:

- Visits to the doc *snort* she thinks asking about my behaviour and attitude is part of her job. She's a homeopathic doc - not a psychiatrist!

- Sitting in the quad. Its actually a cool thing to do. It sure beats going home after every 2 hrs in college.

- Charging my iPod. Seems thats all i do. Besides spending an in-ordinate amount of time bugging deeepti.

- Absence of the servant. This means i have to chip in. hehe. not that i mind and all. But it makes me realise what a mess i make. And who wants to know something like that??

By the way - don't read White Fang when you're bored to begin with. Cause its a good book. But its slooooooooow. I have given it up for now. Whats shameful is that even Ronak has read it and i haven't. hehehe. But oh well.

Hopefully i will get hold of the CDs and books from paddy's place soon. That way my "study leave" (read as: Vacation) will be a tad bit more enjoyable.

And now - i must go the doctor-lady, if you'll excuse me.

ONE MORE EDIT: (yes there are actually 4 edits now.. ) i forgot to mention the 2 people in my aquaintance who think i;m a real lukkhi. No more no less. One being Priya and the other being that doctor. I quote, "i like talking to you before an exam or submission. It makes me feel like i actually know something." and "Don't take your exams lightly. If you study well for your first exam you will have a better confidence and you will do even better in the future." Them's their words. No fabrication whatsoever.
Actually this makes an intriguing change from the usual "you toh must've finished studying everything." Although what i totally like is "I'm sure you've finishes 5 times written revision."
Which makes one want to thank kushal and deeps - cause they actually know what they're talking about when they comment on my preparation..
